The treatment concentrates on the toxins that are accumulated in the liver and gall bladder. The gastrointestinal tract is also cleansed by Virechana therapy. NASYA The nose is the door to consciousness and the pathway to our inner pharmacy. BASTI:The panchakarma procedure holds basti in such high regard that it is believed that the benefit from basti is equivalent to the total benefit of the other four panchakarma processes. And considering the prominent role that vitiated vata plays in the development of disease, that only makes sense. By removing the built-up toxins, the basti therapeutic enema cleans the intestines. According to the consistency of the medications Sneha Basti (Anuvasan) and Niruha Basti (Aasthaapana), Basti Karma is essentially split into two categories. UTTAR BASTI:For both male and female genito-urinary problems, Uttar Basti is a crucial Panchakarma treatment. Through the urethral or vaginal routes, a specific medicinal oil, ghrita, or decoction is administered as part of the therapy. Uttar basti is effective in treating male infertility, low sperm count, impotence, benign prostate enlargement (BPH), urinary incontinence, urethral stricture, recurrent urinary tract infections (UTI), cystitis, and other conditions.
